Victorian Interpretive Projects (VIPs) is an incorporated organisation that aims to interpret history and heritage through providing evidence in easily accessed forms. This could be through indexing projects, photographic projects, workshops, exhibition interpretation or writing. Members of VIPs are typically historians and family historians who aim to leave a legacy to assist those wanting to uncover difficult to access records and stories.

In May 2013 VIPs hosted the Victorian Family History Organisations Association (VAFHO) State Conference in Ballarat. A four year project, 'Mining, Mud and Medals', will concentrate on the Australian Mining Corp during World War One.
