History

Thamas Halvery was born at Scarsdale, Victoria.

Military Experience

Sapper Thomas Halvey (579) from 1st Tunnelling Company, enlisted on 20 July 1915, returned to Australia in 1919. His next of kin was given as Mary Sarah Scarletti of Stawell, Victoria.[1]

Halvey embarked on the HMAT Ulysses.[2]

Thomas Halvey's brothers were Pte James Hugh Halvey (4830), 5th Pioneer Bn, returned to Australia, 12 May 1918; Pte John Halvey(4831), 1st Convalescent Depot, returned to Australia, 19 April 1919.[3]
