No. 1 Rest Home, Wirth's Park

Wirth's Park No. 1 Rest Home was a convalescent home was established on the grounds of Wirth's Circus in 1915, following the return of wounded soldiers from Gallipoli. No. 1 Rest Home also serves as a training centre for the Voluntary Aid Detachment (VADs).[1]
